Jelly Mom Is Honored Again In "America's Funniest Humor" Contest
Greenfield, CA (October 20, 2005) -- Monterey County resident and syndicated parenting humor columnist Lisa Barker received two Honorable Mentions in HumorPress.com's "America's Funniest Humor" Contest for August/September 2005, earning publication online and in print.
Barker's entries, "Senior Moments" and "Stupidity, The Bane of All Parents," are comical glimpses into her life as a harried mother of five children.
"Senior Moments" and "Stupidity, The Bane of All Parents" will be featured in HumorPress.com's online Humor Showcase until the close of the October/November 2005 contest. It will also appear in a print edition of "America's Funniest Humor" scheduled for publication in late fall.
Barker is a previous winner placing second in HumorPress.com's June/July 2005 Contest, earning a $50 cash prize and publication online and in print.
